The Y-cam Knight SD is an ideal IP network camera for home or small business use. It comes loaded with features for a very low price. The Y-cam camera comes with built-in IR illuminators for night viewing allowing you to see even in complete darkness. The video can be viewed in MPEG4 or MJPEG video compression and offers 30fps at 640×480 resolution.

The Y-cam Knight SD also comes with a built-in MicroSD card slot allowing you to recording video or snapshots locally to the camera. This means a recording PC does not need to be present at the location of the camera. The wireless feature also provides easy installation where running network cabling would be difficult.

The Y-cam Knight SD comes with free recording software allowing you to record up to 32 Y-cam cameras. The camera can be viewed on both PC and Mac however the recording software is only PC based. For Mac recording software, check out SecuritySpy by Ben Software.
