Axis Communications has developed a new network video decoder device that is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2010. The AXIS P7701 network video decoder will be the replacement option for the soon to be discontinued AXIS 292 (0213-004) network video decoder. The AXIS P7701 features support for MPEG4, MJPEG and H.264 video compression formats while also allowing for support for full D1 video resolution. The AXIS P7707 also includes support for PoE (Power over Ethernet) which will help to reduce the cost of installation and will help make installation easier by eliminating the need for an additional power cable. With PoE support, the AXIS P7707 has the ability to receiver power via an Ethernet cable line. Additional features of the AXIS P7707 include high quality audio support as well as support for digital and analog video output. Be sure to check out more details on the AXIS P7701 network video decoder by browsing the product page on the Network Camera Store website.
